Welcome to the CBC Weekly Update! We encourage you to be a part of the many opportunities we have to carry out our Come Together mission for the glory of the Lord!

Join us in praying over Vacation Bible School!! 
Did you know?!—of the 180+ children currently registered ages K–5th grade, only about 1/3 of them have made a profession of faith in Jesus.
There are many unchurched families represented as well. 
What a mission field the Lord has prepared for us right here in the walls of our church!! 
Continue praying fervently, come serve—it's not too late to come be a part!!
As more children signup, more volunteers will be needed for a fun, safe week.
Pray for all involved as we seek to shine a light on who Jesus really is at VBS 2026: Illumination Station!

Join us in praying for the next Minister of Students who will lead our student ministry.
Be in prayer for our Search Team: John Benjamin (Chairman), Hannah Kimbrough, Jennifer Locke, John Sparks, and Anne Worthen.

*Reservations encouraged so we know how to prepare

Bring a sweet, salty, or another snack to share any day. You may drop off Sunday at church in the church office or any day Monday–Friday to the CMC kitchen between 8:30AM and 4PM. Be sure to label it TEACHER SNACK. Thank you!

The Calvary Food Pantry & Jehovah Jireh ministries continue to reach both our church family along with families in our community and the vulnerable. Each week, we are able to provide basic food & toiletry items that give our staff the opportunity to meet their spiritual needs. We have created an Amazon Shopping List link where you can now purchase items on our list that will automatically ship to the church! This list will be updated throughout the year. A list of current needs is provided at well. We appreciate your help collecting these items as we prepare to minister to those in need.
