Welcome to the CBC Weekly Update! We encourage you to be a part of the many opportunities we have to carry out our Come Together mission for the glory of the Lord!

By no later than Sun., May 3, please send your graduate's information to the church office to be added to the list of graduates printed and passed out at church on Graduate Recognition.
High school: Send full name, 1 baby image and 1 senior image for the screen/printout, name of school, and if attending college, where?
Higher Education: Send full name, the name of institution, and the degree to be received.

In 1989, Calvary Baptist Church planted Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. The purpose was to reach the unchurched people among the predominately African American Community in Tupelo. Today, Mt. Sinai is led by Pastor Lowell Walker. Bro. Lowell is a faithful brother in Christ and is active in many areas with Lee County Baptists, MS Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.  Bro. Lowell and Mt. Sinai have invited Calvary to join them for a celebration Worship Service this Sunday (April 26th) at 3:00p.m. The purpose of the service is to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the partnership between Calvary and Mt. Sinai. We will have no evening services this Sunday at Calvary to allow all to attend this special service at 3:00p.m. The address is 2032 Green Tee Rd, Tupelo MS.  

Our Community Outreach Breakfast is the LAST Sunday of each month. Volunteers are needed to arrive at 6:15AM for a brief time of prayer, devotion, and breakfast prep. There are many ways in which you can help serve: welcome/greet guests, write name tags, cook, plate food, pass out Jehovah Jireh bags, pray, lead devotion, and more! We begin serving our guests at 7:30AM. What a tremendous blessing this ministry has been thus far! If you're new to Calvary, our Community Outreach Breakfast serves breakfast to the vulnerable in our community on the last Sunday of each month. We share a time of worship, devotion, and prayer. We seek to not only provide for their physical needs, but their spiritual needs as well. We'd love for you to be a part! Sign-up at the Connect Table or contact Bro. Jay Thomason.
